Texto de Inglês - Jonathan de Andrade

A first step is to become aware of existing cultural values. Our country of continental size and born of healthy mestizaje of several European, African, Indigenous cultures possess wonderful secular patrimony in stones and letters, in gestures and speeches, in customs and rites.
In Brazil there is a Ministry of Culture. It is up to him and to civil society bodies to invent, in the different fields, the cultural manifestations that deserve to be preserved.
Conscious of such heritage, we are born with the desire and the duty to value it. This second step begins with education in schools. Maybe little is done to get children to take over our cultural values.
Therefore, by virtue of this, it is presented that the future will depend on the manner in which they will assume, with dignity, such cultural traditions. Nothing better than starting with the city itself, region, expanding the space until reaching the whole country. The deeper we cast the roots in the infantile hearts, the more resistance they will show in the face of foreign influences to the detriment of nationality.
