Religion

     Religious intolerance began in Brazil when the Portuguese arrived, they brought together Catholicism, because they did not accept the indigenous beliefs, which came to be seen as evil.

     This problem of religious intolerance has been spreading for many years, causing harassment and violence by people who feel superior and in the right to debase the beliefs of other citizens. An example of the seriousness of it, is what happens with Islam.

     As Brazil is a secular State, there are several laws that ensure people's right to choose. If someone is humiliated, discriminated against, abused or something, and denounce the oppressor as well as fine, receives a penalty.

     Therefore, in addition to complaints, a good alternative to remedy this diversity of beliefs and customs would be the implementation of programs with themes that address holidays of all religions and beliefs, because along with knowledge, also come to the Next.
