We have in our country a big cultural diversity that comes from different people and their their thoughts, beliefs, religions and from where people - or their ancestors - come. The more the cultural diversity grows worldwide, the more the respect and wellbeing are put at risk, raising conflicts based on differences and intolerances such as ethnocentrism. It can be noticed in Brazil for example, where some groups suffer from discrimination based on their color, race or ethnia. Another important way of discrimination in Brazil is the one related to beliefs and religions, for example when people express their faith. This kind of discrimination goes way back to the Brazilian colonization cycle. When the Portuguese people first arrived on our land, the catholicism was forced on the natives and any of the natives' religions and beliefs were thought to be bad and despised. Thus, each and everyone of us have our opinions, thoughts and beliefs, and in order to build a better place it is necessary to respect cultural diversity.
